Shout out for more – Breakout!

When explanations make no sense, when every answers wrong

I’m drunk. Drunkity, drunk, drunk! I’m in my pjs singing loudly and feeling great. I drank a whole bottle of Prosecco and threw in a sedative. I only ate a cod fillet on a head of lettuce. But who cares? I feel amazing.

You’re fighting with no confidence. All expectations gone

It’s been a shitty week, a shitty, shitty, week. I’ve barely made it through and now I’m drunk, but I love it. I’ve a dress on and my silk Polka dot heels, dancing around

The time has come to make or break, move on, don’t hesitate

Breakout

Preeti invites me out for dinner with her boyfriend. He’s my ex colleague but I don’t want to be miserable around him so I decline a third time. He calls to tell me he’s taking me to the Big Easy (yay!) for my birthday. I’m already drunk and the sedative is kicking in so I say goodnight and pour another drink. I’ll be ok. Don’t worry about me. One day I’ll be blissfully happy and my single days .. were just practice or something.

Don’t stop to ask. And now you’ve found a break to make it last.

You’ve got to find a way, say what you want to say

They say things happen in three’s. I’ve had surgery, a nervous breakdown and now I’ve spent a year doing nothing. Soon I’ll be back to work and I’ll be busy. I’ve found my break, may it last until the end.

Don’t leave your destiny to chance, what are you waiting for?

The time has come to make your break

I burst into song on the toilet. Ok I’m drunk, did I say I’m drunk? Random song that makes me smile, suuuuuch a big smile!

This is the real me me, the happy, smiley (slightly neurotic me) singing and dancing drunk in my pj’s. Goodbye bad week, hello tomorrow.

Lay down the law

Shout out for more

Breakout and shout

Day in day out

And breakout

That’s it! That’s all I need to do is stay happy and sing my song! This is it. I’ve hit the big time I just don’t fully realise it. My big fancy new job, my new life, lots of new men – breakout!

I’m breaking out. Goodbye old me. It’s one month until my birthday and I have the feeling I’m not going to be the same.
